You’re invited to Play Fair, a community festival for North Brooklyn! 🎉
Our mission is to help people find a sense of belonging in their local community while bringing play back to their day-to-day lives. Play Fair is a movement to address the challenges of loneliness and isolation that so many of us face in big cities. We want to celebrate what makes our corner of Brooklyn special and feel like home.
What’s happening on the day:
✦ A ‘Club Fair’ Style Showcase: discover 20+ local communities to join, volunteer with, and support.
✦ 20+ Activities: Locals can jump straight into yoga, beading, board games, breath work, arts & crafts, and more! (All activities are included in the ticket, you can see the line up below.)
✦ Local Food & Snacks: Come hungry to support local vendors.

Our experimental idea turned into an unforgettable event with the potential to evolve into a movement. We were blown away by the positive response — we knew we found our calling! The ripple effect started long before us and we’re excited to amplify what people already do for their communities.
Our goal is to bring play back to our day-to-day lives: discover our community, turn neighbours into friends, lend a helping hand, and grow together.
How It Started & How It's Going
An overdue catch up call went down a rabbit hole of wholesome memories before screens, the feeling of being lost, and the challenges of navigating a new city. Something clicked… and a seed for Play Fair was planted.
We hosted our first experimental club fair x block party community event in Brooklyn. Then, evolved the concept to a community festival in East London. Now, Play Fair calls two cities home: New York and London.
